The Tech Ministries are utilizing emerging media to reach “The World” (both near and far) for Christ. We enhance the Worship Services through images – video projection, cameras, motion backgrounds and dynamic lighting. Our goal is to teach others to use the emerging media to serve God and grow the God given talents.
The Video and CG Team prepares and operates the equipment necessary to display live video and any graphics or characters that are needed to enhance the live video (ie: worship lyrics, Bible verses, etc.). They focus on enhancing and delivering the worship and the message, creating visual appeal, focusing attention, and supporting the communicator.
The Audio Team is responsible for the set-up, monitoring, and adjustment of all auditorium audio equipment. Their role is to support the band, speaker, and all on-stage personnel as they lead or communicate to the audience on Sunday. They focus on facilitating worship and communication, focusing attention, and removing distractions.
The Lighting Team prepares and operates the equipment used to light both the stage and the auditorium on Sundays. They focus on illuminating properly, creating atmosphere, and focusing attention.
The Stage Team directs the flow of people and props from the back of the stage. They also police traffic near the stage and manage the props behind the stage. They focus on creating the environment, enhancing visual communication, and supporting the communicator.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.1 Peter 4:10
Every Sunday is someone’s first Sunday at New Life. Imagine joining a team that has fun creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
The Guest Relations team works hard to create an environment where each guest feels safe and comfortable. You can expect to have fun, care for guests, share community with your team, and play a significant role in helping someone have a remarkable experience. We are one large team that can be seen helping our guests in two areas:
Parking volunteers proactively provide a warm welcome, clear directions, and safe paths for guests entering and exiting our campus.
These volunteers serve our guests at the doors, in the hallways, and in the auditorium by making them feel valued with a sincere greeting, a genuine smile, a friendly presence, a fond farewell, and by providing general assistance during their visit.
